Stay connected with each other and the stories and authors who inspire us. Here is the compiled list of upcoming Waseca-Le Sueur Regional Library System virtual author talks, performances, and workshops as well as curbside packs that are happening each month, which we will be updating daily.
These events require advance registration. Click on the name of the event or curbside pack to register.

- COVID-19 Weekly Updates: Register to learn the latest local COVID-19 information from Waseca and Le Sueur Public Health Departments.
- You Oughta Be In Pictures Pack: Sign up to receive the supplies to create a photo ring to display your favorite pics! Paint and bling it up any way you choose. Geared for ages 13+. Available at all libraries.
- Finger Knitting Kit: Sign up to receive supplies to create two fun finger knitting projects. Geared for ages 5+. Available at all libraries.
- Yeti Expedition Pack: Sign up to receive all kids need to explore and track down a yeti. Geared for ages 7-12. Available at all libraries.
- Teen Photo Bucket List: Sign up to receive all kids need to explore and track down a yeti. Geared for ages 7-12. Available at all libraries. (coming in February)
- Spy Kids Pack: Sign up to receive a spy master’s basic tools. Geared for ages 7-12. Available at all libraries. (coming in February)

- Teen Book Club: Register to discuss The Cruel Prince by Holly Black with other teens. Geared for ages 13-18. (3:30 PM)

- The Great Spring Book Preview: Join Waseca Public Library staff for a preview of our new and upcoming books. (12 PM)
Sunday, January 31st
- Chromebook Tips: Have questions about how to use our new Chromebooks? Patrick, our Montgomery Branch Librarian, will guide you through with tips, tricks, and more! (2 PM)
Tuesday, February 2nd
- RomCom Author Panel: Join author Abby Jimenez (The Happy Ever After Playlist, Life’s Too Short), Helena Hunting (Kiss My Cupcake, Meet Cute), and Lyssa Kay Adams (The Bromance Book Club) as they share their secrets to writing a great contemporary romance novel. (7 PM)
Tuesday, March 16th
- Fiona Davis Author Event: Join bestselling author Fiona Davis as she shares how she writes her historic fiction novels, including her latest book, The Lions of Fifth Avenue. (7 PM)
Tuesday, April 6th
- Sketchbook Explorations: Register for our four-part Sketchbook Explorations series. Classes will take place on Tuesdays (6th, 13th, 20th, 27th) in April. Participants will learn a variety of sketchbook techniques from Creativebug artists. There are a limited amount of slots for this workshop series, so sign up fast! (7 PM)
