Lessons Learned from The Hard Winter

November 6 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Free

The Long Winter by Laura Ingalls Wilder tells the story of her family surviving a horrific winter of blizzards, deprivation, and isolation on the sparsely inhabited Dakota Territory. Laura F. Keyes, a librarian and historical actor, will bring Laura Ingalls Wilder to life and share the lessons that helped the Wilder family persevere—ones that are just as true now as ever.

This event is made possible in part with a grant from the Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund of the Minnesota Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment through the Traverse des Sioux Library System.
