Charlotte, the Stifled Writer

Visit with Charlotte Brontë in 1847, as she reflects on her emotionally-charged experiences as both student and teacher at various boarding schools. Share with her the joy of seeing her deeply personal novel, Jane Eyre, in published form. Laura F. Keyes, a librarian and historical actor, will bring Brontë to life.

This event was made possible in part with a grant from the Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund of the Minnesota Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment through the Traverse des Sioux Library System.
