Waterville Public Library holds Romp and Rhyme story times at 11 am on select dates. From puppets to pumping music, from bubble machines to banging bands, these are not your average story time. The Library uses movement, STEAM activities, curiosity, imaginative play, and active learning to keep kids engaged. Free and open to the public.
Come to the library to collect your library card, play games, pose with a GIANT library card, boogie down at a dance party, collect giveaways, and more! Exclusively for kindergarteners and their families.
Coffee, tea, water, and some of the Snack Shack’s delicious popcorn will be available. Stop in and talk about books, put together a puzzle, or just enjoy some conversation and community. All ages.
Why do bubbles pop? Is there a way to puncture a bubble and not have it pop? Why do bubbles float higher in cool weather? Ages 8-12.
Visit the library to choose a recipe from the selected cookbook. Then bring the finished dish to the event. It’s a great way to share cooking tips and try out delicious food. This month's book: Home Is Where the Eggs Are by Molly Yeh
