Author Karen E. Cooper (When Minnehaha Flowed Whiskey) will share the history of shady operators, corrupt police, unescorted women, drinking, and carousing that dismayed Minnehaha Falls’s neighbors from the 1880s-1912.
This event is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant provided by the Traverse des Sioux Library Cooperative, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
