Teen Film Fest Workshop

FreeTeens are invited to enter the Waseca-Le Sueur Regional Library System Film Fest by July 22nd. Teens can create up to five film entries in any of these four categories: Vine (a 6-second film), Dubsmash, Fake Film Trailer, or Short Film (up to a 6-minute movie). Check your local Waseca-Le Sueur Regional Library System library (Elysian, Janesville, Le Center, Le Sueur, Montgomery, New Richland, Waldorf, Waseca, Waterville) for entry forms and more information.
The Ready, Set, Shoot! Teen Film Fest Screening Party will be held in Trowbridge Park in Waseca on Thursday, July 28th at 6 pm. A $50 gift card grand prize will be awarded to the Best Overall Film while winners in each category will receive $25 gift cards.
Teens looking for tips on filming and editing are encouraged to attend our Film Workshops, led by TV news journalist Shane Lee. The workshops will held at the following locations:
Tuesday, June 7th at 2 pm: Waseca Public Library
Tuesday, June 7th at 6 pm: Montgomery Public Library
Wednesday, June 8th at 2 pm: Le Sueur Public Library
Thursday, June 9th at 4 pm: Janesville Public Library
Friday, June 10th at 3 pm: Waterville Public Library
