Katherine Applegate

Waseca Public Library is honored to host Newbery Award-winning author Katherine Applegate on Friday, April 8th at 6:30 pm. Applegate will speak about her children’s and young adult books as well as her writing process at this free public event. Books will be available for purchase and signing.

Katherine Applegate has written and co-written many books for children and young adults, including The One and Only Ivan, Crenshaw, Eve and Adam, Ivan: The Remarkable True Story of the Shopping Mall Gorilla, as well as the chapter book series Roscoe Riley Rules and Animorphs.

This activity is funded, in part, by Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council with an appropriation from the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the State’s general fund. Funding is also appropriated from Waseca Area Foundation and Waseca Intermediate School.
