As part of Waseca’s Chautauqua event, the Library will lead a story walk for kids of all ages featuring Stars by Mary Lyn Ray. We will also be teaching Talavera-style zentangling to go with this year’s Tex-Mex theme. The Friends of the Waseca Public Library will be selling popcorn.

Chautauqua is an education movement in the United States highly popular in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. A Chautaqua Assembly brought entertainment and culture to a community, with speakers, teachers, musicians, and entertainers.
