Aztec and Nahuatl Dance and Culture

COMPAS Artist Kalpulli Ketzal Coatlicue will provide an introduction of the Nahuatl/Aztec representations of life through dance. Driving drum rhythms and dazzling costumes inspire and energize the crowd. Through each step the dancer in full regalia gives life to the symbols of the dance. All ages.

This program was made possible in part with a grant from the Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund of the Minnesota Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment through the Traverse des Sioux Library System.
