Author Talk: Renee Wendinger

Inspired by her mother, an orphan train child, Renee Wendinger reveals the life story of orphaned, half-orphaned, and runaway children of immigrant parents in nineteenth century New York. Wendinger will share her collection of stories detailing little known details about children who faced nearly insurmountable odds and discuss Minnesota’s orphan train history.
