Author Event: Barton Bauer

“I killed my father. I did not know it then, but I know it now.” Thus begins Barton Bauer’s memoir, A Butcher’s Boy: On Killing, Dying, and Death, and his struggle to come to terms with a decision made in 1994 that hastened his father’s death. The 80-year-old author will speak about his life growing up as the son of a small-town butcher and struggles with the mystery of death.
