Comic Book Button Workshop for Kids

Make your own comic book buttons at Waseca Public Library. Using discarded comic books and a button maker, participants can create buttons to dress up their clothes, backpacks, and other gear.

The free drop-in workshops will be split into two sessions and held at Waseca Public Library. The first session, for ages 13-18, will be held from 2-4 pm on Tuesday, June 2nd and the second session, for ages 8-12, will be held from 1-3 pm on Wednesday, June 3rd. Snacks will be provided. The events are free and open to the public.

Waseca-Le Sueur Regional Library System is offering these workshops as part of their Summer Reading Program. The events are made possible by a grant provided by Traverse des Sioux Library Cooperative and are funded in part with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
