Reynold D. Philipsek Concert

Philipsek’s music is strongly influenced by Django Reinhardt and American post-bop roots. He will perform original compositions and jazz standards with a bassist.

In his cross-cultural, cross-generational work, Tales for the North Woods, Philipsek included elements of gypsy jazz, bebop, Latin folk music, modal jazz, and the folk music of Reynold’s Czech and Polish heritage.
