DESCRIPTION:From Cup-and-Ball to Jenga\, play games throughout the years in Trowbridge Park at the\nSesquicentennial’s Ice Cream Social. \nPreserve your photographs and artifacts from Waseca’s history at our Scan for Keeps event\,\nalso held during the Sesquicentennial’s Ice Cream Social. Sesquicentennial goers are\nencouraged to bring in a photograph or artifact featuring outdoor fun in Waseca. Think lake\nactivities\, tree climbing\, sports\, Trowbridge concerts\, and more! Waseca Public Library staff\nwill scan the item and ask the owner if they are willing to sign a Deed of Gift to give Waseca\nPublic Library permission to keep and use a digital copy of their items in an exhibit. Staff will\nask for pertinent information about the item and its subject matter and record answers.\nAfter scanning the items\, staff will provide the community member with both TIFF and JPG\nversions of their items\, along with basic information about digital preservation.

It’s refreshing to hear a lyricist with deeper ideas on her mind.” —Living Blues Magazine \nGet ready for dazzling guitar riffs\, boogieing bass lines\, and an irresistible rhythm irresistible when Just Mirlyn hits the stage on June 19th at 7 pm. \nThe 4-piece band The Galactic Cowboy Orchestra will close out the series on June 26th at 7 pm.
