Summer Reading Program Kick-Off

Readers ages 2-18 are invited to participate in the 2017 Build a Better World Summer Reading Program at Waseca Public Library. The Library is holding a registration kick-off from 10 am-12 pm on June 5th in Trowbridge Park with activities exclusively for those who sign up for the program on the first day.

All ages are welcome listen.

Kids are invited to build a huge box city, plant a sprout house, create at our tinker table, and more while teens can fold origami cranes.

The Summer Reading Program provides incentive prizes and events geared to keep kids reading and actively learning throughout the summer. The program is sponsored by Friends of the Waseca Public Library, Pantheon Computers, Paul and Sue Rosenau Legacy of Angels Funds, E.F. Johnson Foundation, Waseca Area Foundation, City of Waseca, Hy-Vee, Northwood Cinema 10, the Waseca Water Park, Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota, Chipotle, McDonald’s, Minnesota Timberwolves, Minnesota Vikings, Minnesota United, Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund, and Traverse des Sioux Library Cooperative.
